The Green Products Standard set by Lemondrop Embedded is based on ROHS and REACH Standards and other specific requirements of customers.

RoHS Compliance / Declaration

Lemondrop Embedded is committed to the manufacture of environment-friendly products. In view of the increasing demand for environmentally friendly products, We are working to accomplish this through the elimination of lead and other hazardous substances.

All electrical and electronic components used in our supplied assembled boards that are RoHS compliant to meet the requirements of European Union directive Compliance of the individual such part /components used in the products is verified through their individual test report/declaration from the respective vendors / their datasheet.

(REACH) Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemical Substances in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006

The candidate list according to article 59 (1, 10) of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 (REACH) was published the first time on October 28th, 2008 on the website of the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). Determining whether any of its products contain more than 0.1 percent by weight of the candidate substances is an ongoing process. For this purpose, the company is in close contact with its suppliers.

LDE evaluates the supplier certifications and material composition declarations for the subparts used in the product. Based on that, to the best of our knowledge, we certify that our current product(s) do not have a substance which is intended to be released during normal and reasonably foreseeable conditions of use.

Information Regarding Candidate List as amended on January 16, 2020

Under the REACH regulation, manufacturers and importers of substances must obtain all the data needed to assess the substances they produce or import. They must also demonstrate convincingly that their substances are safe to handle for all identified uses and thus harmful effects on human health and the environment can be avoided.

Concerning substances of very high concern (SVHC) manufactures of articles, in particular components manufacturers, are obliged to inform their customers in case an SVHC is contained in a product with more than 0,1% w/w. The list SVHC is regularly updated and published by the ECHA.
